PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR IMPROVING STUDENTS` RUNNING STRIDE KINEMATIC IN ATHLETICS TRAINING

Abstract

The article addresses the problem of improving the technical proficiency of higher education students within the context of the modern transformation of the educational process. The relevance of the study is driven by the phenomenon of «kinematic illiteracy» among university students, manifested in a chaotic structure of running movements, low energy efficiency of locomotion, and an increased risk of musculoskeletal injuries. It is theoretically substantiated that technical running parameters are not static and are subject to correction through purposeful pedagogical intervention. It has been established that the key indicator of educational quality is running economy, achieved by minimizing vertical oscillations of the center of mass and optimizing ground contact time. The author differentiates the biomechanical specificity of specialized running drills: the study identifies a high kinematic similarity of the «High Knees» drill (Running A) to the thigh lift phase in sprinting, as well as the need for strict dosing of the «Running B» drill due to the risk of creating a braking impulse. The scientific novelty lies in defining a set of pedagogical conditions that ensure the transition from mechanical exercise execution to conscious management of movement parameters. A three-stage training algorithm is proposed, synthesizing a static-dynamic mode, a visualization stage using video analysis, and a stage of integrating technical skills into a holistic run through «acceleration runs». It is proven that the implementation of instrumental feedback and cognitive control allows for the transformation of a student's run into a biomechanically grounded model, providing a health-preserving effect and preventing pathological wear of the lower limb joints.
