PECULIARITIES OF FORMATION OF AESTHETIC CULTURE OF THE FUTURE TRANSLATOR IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract

The article considers the peculiarities of the formation of the aesthetic culture of the future translator in higher education institutions of Ukraine in the context of globalization. The author analyzes modern changes in the paradigm of translation, explores different models of translation in aspects of their aesthetic components and defines the role of aesthetic culture of the translator in the translation process.
The article highlights two reasons that negatively affect the modern process of forming the aesthetic culture of the translator: the instability of the requirements for the professional qualities of the translator in the context of globalization; lack of scientific explanation of the role of aesthetic culture for translators engaged in various types of translation.
The formation of the aesthetic culture of the translator in the article is interpreted as an urgent problem, the solution of which contributes to the development of a successful personality capable of active creative activity in the field of translation. The author emphasizes that in forming the aesthetic culture of the future translator it is necessary to take into account its essence as a system of components of spiritual, culturological, personal and professional nature.
The aesthetic culture of the future translator is considered by the author in the socio-cultural and professional-personal context as a system of interacting components of aesthetic consciousness, attitudes and qualities of activity that allow him to remain on a stable humanitarian platform in the context of globalization and spread of digital technologies in the field of translation. To improve the pedagogical situation of the formation of the aesthetic culture of the future translator, the author proposes to rely on his consciousness and understanding of the role of this culture in the translation process.
The article argues that a systematic approach to teaching a foreign language in higher education institutions of Ukraine in modern conditions must be associated with the formation of a high level of aesthetic culture of students, especially - future translators.
