Methods of teaching technical disciplines in the conditions of distance learning

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of contemporary educational computer programs, educational platforms and opportunities for the use of information and communication technologies for the effective conduct of the lessons in technical disciplines in a pedagogical institution of higher education in the conditions of distance learning. There is underlined the importance of the educator's mastery of modern teaching technologies in the period of rapid scientific and technological progress and in the conditions of a pandemic. Based on the analysis of theoretical sources and practice of teaching, there has been proposed a set of applications of information and communication technologies with examples of their implementation in the educational process. Their effectiveness has been tested during the educational process of students of the Faculty of Technology. There has been considered the general information culture of a teacher of a higher education institution, in particular the organization of electronic documentation. The main services and applications that allow the use of the Internet in the work of a teacher of higher education institution have been analyzed in detail. The characteristic of an educational and methodical complex for maintenance of distance learning which is necessary for increase of professional skills of a contemporary teacher has been given. The author suggests the examples of the use of information and communication technologies for the training of future teachers of Technology in the field of technical disciplines. Attention is paid to the teacher's self-education, there are outlined the ways and means of obtaining information on finding information about internships, advanced training, opportunities for interaction and participation in the organization of the educational process at the state, regional, city levels.
